BEAT TO A PULP, HARDBOILED 2'S DELICIOUS COVER

Some of you might remember my announcement that my grandfather's short story "The Killing on Sutter Street" is appearing in the new BEAT TO A PULP, HARDBOILED 2. Well, the cover is out, and I love it!

Editor David Cranmer says the book will be out in 2-3 weeks. Can't wait!

Great cover. I can see a contest saying to "Caption This."

Glad you like it, Laurie. And that's a sharp idea, Charles.

The caption should read, "I warned you to stop touching my mint copies of BLACK MASK!"

"STOP TAKING ALL THE LOVE PULPS - LEAVE SOME FOR ME!!!"

I've been guilty of buying alot of love pulps at pulp convention auctions so I'll have to keep an eye on Laurie. Usually I tend to sit near the back so I have other bidders in front of me. That way no one can approach me from the rear and stab me while I'm bidding on pulps.

As Frank Gruber said, it's a PULP JUNGLE out there.

Laurie, it's your father and my husband who have vintage stories in this anthology. Hubby is 92 now and chomping at the bit to get more reprints out there. I assume all the other stories are new pulp, right? Patti Boeckman
