Since FAR WEST was a Street & Smith pulp and a companion to WESTERN STORY, I've always been very interested in buying copies. But it is one of the harder magazines to find and my collection is still missing many issues.
I am looking for the August edition V7 #1 with an article by Harold McCracken if anyone has locating tips. Even if you have it and aren't willing to sell I would love to talk to you!! Please call Sean at 303-917-9660!!!
...for a post related to pulp fiction, some posts are categorized according to the genre. So look under "pulp fiction," but also look under "pulp fiction - westerns" or "pulp fiction - detective," for example. Topics under "pulp covers" also have abbreviated historical information as well.

I showed this cover to my mother. Since she is not into pulp at all, but she likes good art... Well, she liked it. really liked. ;)
So... thanks for helping me to make her smile:)
Very nice cover Laurie. Even though it says Jauary on the cover it would have been on sale in December.
I wonder if that's a Red Ryder BB gun in the box "Santa" is holding.
