Lone Pine, California. Taken last October at the Lone Pine Film Festival. If my memory serves me correctly, this site is one of the locations for the classic GUNGA DIN (1939). Ed Hulse, chime in if I'm incorrect.
Have a good weekend, everybody. Hopefully it will be a sunny one for all.

Here is raining. And is needed, so... will be a good weekend indeed ;)
It seems like I've seen that stretch of road in a few westerns as well.
Nice stark photo, Laurie.
What a great picture. Love the b/w. Looks great blown up to full size!
Great photo. Looks like a production still from any number of old westerns. Once you know about Lone Pine, it shows up in so many westerns - that and places that want to look like it.
Beautiful all week with rain predicted for the weekend. Not we Old Pensioners really distinguish a weekday from a weekend. Been watching a lot of Hoppy movies lately and that shot looks typical of the great outdoor locations used.
